I honestly dont know from where, the car burns no oil at all, no smoke. Runs smooth…I dont know why the compression is low..maybe is just within service level and its about to take a dump?
Im saving for another ze tho then i may turbo it.
i had a problem quite the same. turned out to be a connector block tucked behing the back rocker on left hand side was off along with being dirty. cleaned it up and fine. could be something that simple.
Ummm. Not really the principles are the same no matter what but it is a little bit more complicated on a plane. But… you do have unlimited resources and you tend to replace rather than repair - at least in my days a long time ago.

The skinny pipe is probably for the standard egr pipe that vents to atmosphere on your OE air box, mine is just left to atmosphere no filter.
The other two larger pipes are probably intended for the rocker breathers, the one on your front bank with the PCV valve needs to be left alone unless you fit an oil catch tank other wise your idle will be all over the place but the breather with black pipe at the front of your engine and back that meet can be vented to atmosphere.
Not very good explantion sorry.
As for the bolt holes sounds like it is for a different type of air flow meter than the one you have fitted.. think 1.6 have a filter that mounts like the one you describe.. vvvv

ive now adjusted the hinge bolts that go to the door and my door is officialy fooked its poping the wing when shooting and ive broke the metal thing that stops it flying ope.
good job im getting a new door and paint job!
It's not for a MX-3 though.
It's designed for the US market 2.0 FS Probe/626 engine.
Cutting the square flange off allows it to fit UK cars, but again, probably not an MX-3 as it was not designed for it in the first place.

de-cat pipes are a wste of time!
get a old exhaust, cut a decent peice of exhaust pipe weld it in. done.
i would if i could weld,my mate can weld but id still want to give him a drink.
mechanics gave me a link to a place thats has them for $17 and $35 post, say £25 our money which is what i would probly spend getting a pipe and my mate to weld.
just glad ive got people like you lot to ask when i dont know.
i appreciate all your time.

the other day got 285 miles out of a 93 one with 141000 miles! full tank to solid amber light. delighted! and i do enjoy the car alright!!
popped fuel injector cleaner in so i guess it helped big time. when i get the back box fixed, should get a bit more then.
i go everywhere in 5th, really helps. but when i have to, 6500 rpm shifts until that corsa in the rear view is a speck
