Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I may have found the requisite part but won’t know for sure until I can get the car to the garage next week. Fingers crossed I’ll be up and motor running in no time but it’s good to have another contact should I need one.

Hi the only thing that comes to mind is that the calipers could possibly need an overhaul, Getting a repair kit and replacing the piston and seals is relatively easy.I bought two second hand calipers fairly cheaply ,and took my time rebuilding them before fitting, brakes work perfectly now

My MX3 is due its MOT this Friday,so fingers crossed that all is well. Then hopefully get some nice warm sunny weather and go for a few long runs .At the moment I am struggling to get some new ignition leads as a mouse has chewed through one .If anyone knows of the best place to get a set I would be most great full,I have of course tried eBay.

Its a great feeling getting a pass for another year .I do plan to overhaul the rear brake calipers fairly shortly.what an amazing tribute to Mazda ,a car that's 28 years old ,and everything electric still works.I have been collecting old favourite cassette tapes, cruising with the ELO can't beat it
