try that, its from the MX5 website, they have a good idea of what they are doing
Yeah there's some great deals out there
Before adding legal and no claims protection pleasantly surprised to be quoted 120 and 96 respectively for full comp including partner. Under a ton for full comp can't be bad !
where are you firstly ???
get it done its a rare car, if i didnt have 4 cars currently i would buy it with the head gasket gone and do it next year as im looking for a stock one again and sell on my saab convertible as im bored of luxury i want a car that i can drive , its not a massive thing if you can get most of it apart yourself and get someone mobile to put the head back on it would be a lot cheaper, main parts are head gasket and head bolts and while its apart new cambelt and waterpump and it will go another 50,000 miles :)
Haha yea the oil filter is up the back of it. I'm not a fan of having oil filters on sideways, always makes a mess. I'd say the older the car the easier! Except drum brakes, I hate them.
Have one here, I'm pretty sure it's RHS but need to double check. You can use them either side, though it does mean the cable has to go back on itself. £20 and it is yours.
Yea I doubt grease was the issue too!
Cheers,
Marc
Many thanks for ebay part number. I have purchased item, and am confident it is the correct type. Just waiting for info on jumper connections within the remote and I will be up and running.
