I suppose uncut would be good if you have one of those induction kits that point down to the floor, help a bit with keeping water off the filter, but personally, i'd rather have it cut cos im too lazy to cut myself :p
Saying that though, depending when you're doing them I might not have the money to go in on it anyway as all my money is going into trying to get the car fixed up to a decent condition :(
@b48bc8da38=djmarcopolo:
Aero ones are much nicer looking, there are 2 main cheap brands (£10 per full set) one is much better than the other and the good ones are excellent on the rear
i spashed out on some sparco ones around 15 each derliverd
(thanks dj i found the fix in your posts after looking through about 500 or so :) )
I have a light bar already which i'm going to check tonight.
Just out of interest i have just taken of the rocker cover, scraped off the silicone sealant, pried off the old gasket, replaced, changed the oil and filter. That's a big job for me knowing nothing about cars.
Well, I say "I"….. I supervised lol
Welcome back fella ….
now as for a pink mx nah surely not its prob red thats been SERIOUSLY NEGLECTED and turned pink.. you gotta get pics mate really just for the laugh...
Yeah putting axle stands under the sills isnt something I felt comfortable with, just doesnt look like itll take the weight, I know its designed to but it just doesnt look like it if you know what I mean. Its sorted now, just been to local saw mills, I has a brand new railway sleeper!
V6 is same as mx3, but a longer pipe at the cat side. Cat is a couple more inches to the rear of the car.
Keep in mind that ALL headers are crooked as hell.. Mine's got them, shortened the mid section to get the rear and cat in.
put it on a skateboard so you can move it around, or more sensibly, rest its sills on thick blocks of wood so it cant fall over, brick under the sills may end up cracking or being split in half
had a contour hd head camera for when I play paintball, thats good, records at 720p, think they got a 1080 out now, paid 280quid for it, not worth the money tbh, the go pro hero does a good/better job and is about half the price, plus waterproof, my pocket camera is rubbish at videos, its a canon something or other
was quite a bit of fun, havent used photoshop properly for years, so if anyone else wants something doing feel free to put up a pic as id quite like to spend a bit of time relearning some of what I once could do.
I would need high res photos though as the amount of editing is ridiculous (try turning a car flat yellow from red or any other colour and youll see what I mean, always wants to go to metallic due to reflections), if you look at the photos of dj's car you can see that were it starts to go dark down the side of the car due to lack of resolution there isnt enough colour data to get decent gradient between light and shadow, all Id need is a good photo, anything 5mega pixels or above should be fine, and shot in a decent amount of lighting.
I own a dslr and equipment so never struggle for light, but if you think your shots through a little then you can get excellent quality from a normal point and shoot camera if anyone knows how to do exposure bracketing then that would be a huge help, could do colour changes and HDR, if you dont, then just ask, not all cameras can do it due to the over simplification of the user interface, also, shoot in raw if you can. Photobucket wont host raw of high res, but you can email me the photos as I can accept attachments upto 1gb
just listed 40 of my remaining zx6r parts, not sold anything yet, hoping the faggoty fair weather riders are coming out of hiding and will help give me mx3 funds aswell as clearing my shed! cant move in there for zx6r and mx3 parts, speaking of which, got some mx bits i want rid of, some of them are for the older model, or just stuff i wont need
@b207e8b6e2=Lori:
Gulf, I'd swap my car for that :)
Never!! :lol: I've got a streetfighter Honda NSR50 too, thats been converted to take a 4 stroke 160cc motor, think I have a picture of that somewhere, also got a 1977 Honda dax, but thats been stripped down for about 4 years with the intention of a major custom job, also got a KTM DukeII, but I think I'm gonna sell the KTM as I want a new daily driver and I will put the funds of bike towards car, plus I don't really ride it that much….
when i was working on building the M7. i beached the front of the car on a 150mm lip in the tar i was driving up two plancks of wood which decided to shoot back under the car leaving the crossmember and engine sitting on the gravel,
with the coilovers my wheels are just off the ground at this stage i had to lift the front of the car (by the engine) with an excavator, i also happend to be 2 hours late to where we were working that day but my boss has a sense of humor and laughed his bolix off and told me he wasnt going to send the lads down to help.
Miy k8 used to limit at 7500 too, so you could just swap for a euro k819 ecu. (And get it Mazdarati Chipped while at it.. ;))
Though my klze loses power over 6300, so the gain must be minimal..
