iv'e seen it alot of details are wrong like the name haha. Lee Humphreys is me, George Humphreys is my dad and the owner of the mazota. hopefully be going back in,
as my dads on the website but doesnt come on alot just has a random browse time to time ill explain for him
We built a nissan sunny n13, with a 2L few years back (160mph), it got hit by a lorry causing a bit of damage, and a bloke he knows borrowed him a mazda mx3 which he had for sale. got the sunny back on the road. told the bloke he knew he wanted to buy the mx3.
eventually sold the sunny, and was left with a mazda mx3 and a toyota sera. also had a toyota gtfour engine at work. and the mx3 didnt have tax so we decided to put the 3sgte engine in the mx3, as its never been done.
good 6months of working on the mx3 and it was ready for the road, tax,mot and insured it and the sera needed bodywork doing so sold it cheap and was left with the mx3 which my dad still has today.
I dont mind if people want to over-do the athestic mods but its gotta be the fast street sleeper for me. Not much beats some skally's pulling up at the lights looking at your cute lil 3, maybe laughing cos its not a saxo only to burned off 3 seconds later…. Brilliant! Pisser! Angry chav faces!
That's pretty neat. Wonder what price they were? Seem to be out of action now. Guess megasquirt probably killed them a bit! Seems a tidier solution than those MSD window switches.
@e2d8319163=dubstep:
Im having trouble getting hold of a sunroof seal.
Anyone else suffer this or is there somewhere that stocks them that i jus dont know about?!
I'm in need of one too, I have a 10mm gap in the front of mine that whistles like mad. :x
Current solution is to jam a Rizla (other brands are available  ) filter tip in it.
I'd be interested to know if they can be got. Just not on the top of the list of things I need so haven't looked….. yet!
All the Ford V6 Duratech engines are Jaguar engines originally developed by BMW when they owned Jag. When Ford bought out Jag they also had the rights to it so started using them instead of the KL's in Fords, Jag & Mazda's
They are very similar to our K series. I do know both the blocks to the Mazda KL and the Jag V6's were both developed by Porsche so they are very similar. Main differences between the 2 are the Ford/Jag engines have cam chains instead of cam belts like our K's. Obviously there are others but that's the biggie!
My Father-in-law has a 2.5 X type which I get to work on every so often. It is basicly a Mondeo underneath and the amount of Ford badges every where is unbelivable for a Jag! They're on every casting or casing. It also has VRIS too so that is freshly robbed from Mazda!
Also the Cougar is basicly a Mondea coupe, same floor pan, engines & Suspension.

most seem to upgrade to SPEC (stage) clutch
http://treperformance.com/c-173-clutch-flywheel.html
will cost you more than double (ish) OEM clutch though…

Yeah that isn't gonna be cheap to upgrade, maybe I'll leave that one for when I actually need a better clutch than oem :p

Do not take my word for it it may be something else but its very similar but get it checked before commiting yourself
I have been driving it for a bit, and it doesn't make it all the time, so it's intermittent, but I'll get it checked by a mechanic I know and see what he says, thanks for the help though :)
