@5dbdded4fb=martin:
Thanks for the info Roc.
Anyone have an idea how long parts typically take to arrive from the states. Ideally wanted it for easter w/e.
Was also curious why my mate (mechanic of 30 yrs experience/own business) told me my k8 engine on the eunos was knackered after cam belt snapped(engine was only idling at 750 rpm at time). So went up to his garage to see him this morning. He showed me the autodata book (Timing belts, dated 2003), it states that the "k8 1.8 v6 engine is an INTERFERENCE engine"???. Guess this is why most mechanics will tell you ur engine is knackered!!
Autodata is wrong on nearly everything relating to these engines.
Apparently is pretty damn accurate for the distance and times, some guy on youtube did a few runs at santa pod with it and it was no more than 0.2 seconds out and around 10bhp from what he thinks his bhp is. I think however the power is only right if you get your car weight bang on with you in it.
**Well, I've taken apart the whole thing now, nozzle to pump… I've blown through each part then tested it when attached to the pump but not the car and every bit is clear - and it all now works!
So, there was probably a blockage in one of the last two pieces - the final 2" rubber tube or the jet itself - which has now been cleared at last.
Couple of pointers. All the clips will snap taking it apart, so none of the bits are flush any more and you will not be able to relocate the last piece of tube through the hole it is supposed to go through so wrap a piece of string around it and drop it through the hole first, and pull it through once it's in.**
Ryans right im sorry del sol's are fetching really good money i had the chance of one for 550 but it needed a little work i could have more than doubled my money on it, i know for certain around me the asking 1500 +
on another note 30-40 notes on petrol a week is cheap to be honest for back and forward to work, i spend 60 just running around.. wes is a v6 also..
stick with the mx bud you know you want to…
i'm bidding on a set of wheels but the person i'm buying from doesnt really want to help me buy them i've a corrier organisesd but they wont be there during working hours i need someone to collect them and either meet a courrier durin working hours or bring them to work with them so they can be shipped back to me

CAN YOU DELETE THE STREET NAMES ON THOSE PICS PLEASE ITS A SECURITY RISK!!
OR I WILL REMOVE THEM LATER
**Not just the street names either. It'd take very little time to Googlebomb those exact addresses from the town name alone.
Edit: In fact, having never been to the area and using just the information in post 1, here is djmarcopolo's house - from a different PoV:
(nothing more than the name of the town and the contents of the screengrab used - I've erased anything that could possibly get you the same result from my image, short of knowing the area well)**

That's my next plan fella now, I've been bitten by the bug, fook finishing the house off! :lol:
I don't think there would be any point in me posting my completely stock engine bay. I'll get some VHT paint for the rocker cover and post a pic tomorrow or so. :D
