You can find it on the garage forum at the UKPOC Probe club, very similar procedure, most codes the same:

@b30e1f7b1b=colclark:
Could I get a pm on how I can bypass the imobiliser ty
PM me where you are in staffs bud, if you're close, I'll pop over and do it for ya.
(And by I'll I mean me and my car electronics bud who will do it while I watch.)
@d4ecd431ae=Lori:
I'm toying with the idea, of having a screen within the dash. Almost like a reverse glove box style hidden. There is enough space behind it, but it's a lot of custom work.
Aye I got too much on already!
Re try the negative point and check your splice has cut into the core correctly. As the dimmer wiring is quite thin it may not have spliced correctly.
Bitch to get the splice apart but will go with a small terminal
mine stay on but are very dim when i have the lights on. I thought it was because i have LED bulbs but it may be a ground wire somewhere like on the back up light sensor on the tranny…
@734a40cce9=spoddyaz3:
the other end is in ok?
sometimes the needle would bounce a bit on my az-3, but always worked ok.
i know to put the gearbox oil in you take the speedo cable out so just make sure both ends are sitting snuggly.
i hope to check the other end of the cable today but not gonna lie, i have minimal knowledge of cars so it could be an amusing feat.
Don't bother with the contact cleaner, that was for it it did not move the stalk when you did the test.
If its moving the stalk then its a physical problem and your going to have to strip it down and see what is going on.
If its broken you can get the whole part from the scrappy (if you can find one) for £15, or try ebay.
@82cf7bef61=Lori:
Does your friend have any other nice parts…..
Is that a vulture I see?
he will be selling soon
brand new climair wind deflectors (doors & sunroof set)
Lexus rear lights with the fittings for dual rear lights
Projectors
stainless exhaust system
possibly lowering springs
Happy days, the sooner the standards hit the bin the better. Thanks I just wanted to check the clearance, I saw the links to the converters in another post on here somewhere.
Does anyone know what wires they are attached to the loom?
While I'm off work I wanna get these wired up, and I can't read a wiring diagram for shit.
I've found these here:
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?file=/1995 Workshop Manual/Z/Z-000d.gif
http://www.mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?file=/1995 Workshop Manual/Z/Z-032.gif
This reads to me that
Red\Blue (R\L)
Black\White (B\W)
Black (B)
Are the colors loom side and
Black = Signal.
Gray = Ground.
White x2 = Heater.
Are the details sensor side.
But which ones connect to which?
When it was in the boot I ran it inside close to the sills along with other wiring.
Think it may now be wired inside door sills. Will re check and post some pics for you.
Hi again Lori :)
Iirc?, if your'e setting up TPS using feeler gauges, ie mechanically, you SHOULDN'T/ DON'T need to jump TEN + GND!!!
Think in doing so, what you've done while setting TPS up, is you've taught the ECU all the movements you made as you opened throttle etc to slip feeler between throttle stop etc?
I bet if you do a code pull it will flash '12' at the very least???
I would:
Do a code pull to confirm above.
Disconnect Battery NEGTIVE lead, press brake pedal for 10 seconds, (to reset ECU & clear codes).
WITHOUT jumping TEN + GND!!! re confirm your TPS idle position
( ie; bottom 2 pins of 4, connect ohmeter,
circuit/continuity/resistance with 0.15mm feeler inserted,
open circuit/ NO continuity/ NO resistance with 0.50mm inserted.
Tighten both screws.
RE FIT TPS connector.
RE CONNECT battery NEGATIVE lead.
NOW jump TEN + GND, start engine in this mode allow to warm up and adjust idle speed WHEN warm if nessesary?.
8. Switch off, leave TEN & GND in place, connect your LED, turn ignition
switch to ON only and confirm
NO codes show? (led's RED lead in B+, led's BLACK lead in FEN). IT MUST BE A STADARD 12V led!! NOT A FLASHING TYPE
Turn ignition off, remove LED and TEN & GND jumper. restart engine and test drive to confirm adjustments?
Wow that's my typing fingers fooked for a while! :(
Hope you can de sypher this and it helps??? :?
