This shouldn't be too hard as a DIY project.
Called in my local car spares shop today and they have all the stuff.
What happened to 4terra making them up?
Freedon try this guy for a service and repair manual i got one from him its spot on….

Or you could drive over here and take mine, either just glass or complete hatch if you like - £30 and it's yours, then even with petrol you could pay toi have it fitted and still be well under £100 all in!!!!
the way i did it was,
if u open ur bonnet look on passenger side, u will see where the wires go into the car in the loom i got a knife an carefully cut it just enough to get the wire in it then comes out in the foot well if you put ur hand up behind the heater motor u should be able to feel it
Had the same issue last week so dimantled the door handle on both sides its just two 10mm nuts holding it in then took the lock apart and removed the offending parts, took all of 10 mins..
at the moment i have a touch imoboliser and a push start button where the ciggertte lighter goes,
my projects like james klze turbo but ill use a klde. and the cars going to be a sleeper/rat look hopefully matt black by the end of october.
Been to local auto electric people today and I really need a circuit and schematic for this.
I have a USA workshop manual that I downloaded some time ago but dim-dip wasn't fitted over there.
Anyone got a circuit and schematic for UK cars?
you havent got the same problem Nic, just a dead battery. Think about it, if the car starts ok on a set of jump leads then the alarm/immob is deactivating ok on the charge from another battery. When you use the one on the car thats stuffed it all kicks off again.
New battery, job done.

Nice one Neil,
Thanks mate, i must admit i did take it to a garage but it was where a mate works and he let me use the mot test equipment and reset the lights myself as a favour…
Neil..
Ah, i never realised that. I have actually just found it and connected it up again. The connector and braket had been bolted up by the header tank when swapping the engine to keep it out of the road. Thats what happens when you and two mates all set about an engine swap at the same time.
I did have another question i was going to post about the ECU, how would i go about resetting it as its not running great so i want to reset it the pull the error codes from the diagnostics port (I'm sure i saw a tutorial on that here somewhere)
Cheers again
oh right! Can be such a muppet at times.
found that the two top screws hold on the plastic trim on top of the rear light, and one biggun in the middle, i'll have another look tomorrow.
Thanks alot!
thanks mate. The car starts fine and not had any problems. The alarm box seems to be under the bonnet. The remote works but the alarm never alarms-disarms even if i turn the key in the said control box.
Thanks. :D Was worried about how to get it open.
I've bought all the bulbs and just waiting for them to arrive now, I'll post up some pics once I've got it done.
Also changin the foglight bulbs, and replacing the side repeater indicators too.
