@mickthemaverick Thanks Mick. Invicta Insurance Services give great service and they support car clubs such as ours. They are sponsoring the Biddenden Tractorfest and Classic Car Show this weekend. I will be going and it would be great to see you and your MX3 there. Cheers, Steve
Hello,
Your welcome for the advice.
With regards to to dizzy you have 3 options:
1 Replace the dizzy.
2 Replace the coil inside the dizzy.
3 Perform a HEI mod, doing a search will give more details of this.
I myself went down the option 3 route as its a common fault that happens ox the MX3.
Also there is a possibility that you change the dizzy or coil and the same thing will happen again.
I've heard of some people changing tjere dizzy 4 times in the space of a year where as others have no trouble at all.
The choice is yours to make.
Hi Jono
I have discovered that Mazda changed the distributor in 1995 and my Mx is a 1996 ,my question is do you know why the change and could the 95 distributor be retrofitted to a 96 mx3 ?
