Aftermarket Clutch
-
Cheers for that, I gave exedy a call asking them to recommend a clutch, they asked for the Mazda part numbers for the stock clutch, I ended phoning a dealership for them. We had trouble matching the numbers with the aftermarket parts, the expert is back next week… If anyone else needs the stock part numbers: -
Plate - K801-16-410F
Friction Disk - LF02-16-460A
Clutch Bearing - LF01-16-510I was going to get a Stage 1 SPEC-SZ261 from Flatlander. The torque is rated at 280ft-lbs. That's plenty for a lightly modified j-spec KLZE right?
(F*cking weak £ isn't helping much right now, but it's a buyers market at least.)
-
Hmm you should really be using the MX6 J spec part(might be same as normal KLDE part though), or the probe or normal mx6 clutch kit. That plate code indicates K8 engine.
Lots seem to like spec, I have a Spec stageIII for some reason  It's pretty overkill, but I like to have room for more power :) Stage 1 seems more than enough, have a search on Probetalk about that Spec I.
