the rubber piece that holds the gear lever up lol! mines worn away and every so often it drops out and i have to pull it back up lol!
where can i get them and how much? or if they come with the short shifters cus i want to get one so could kill 2 birds with 1 stone :)

lol there was a guy on mx-3.com made plates to stop that happening. You could have a search see if he's still at it. Otherwise can't see there being anyone except mazda making a replacement.

correct, and that part doesn't come with shortshifters…
if you have a scrapyard near you you could look for an manual mx-3 there with the part...

Hi, not sure how long ago this post is. I have a complete shifter assembly (5 speed) you could have if interested, just pay shipping. I installed a shirt shifter kit and kept it for such purposes.
