You think that's expensive for a clutch?…...... Crikey, that's peanuts if you ask me. I paid nearly £60 for a bit of rubber piping for my air filter from Mazda.
-
Laughs at my OEM clutch I picked up on ebay for £12
PS: I'm back bitches.

i think ebay is no longer the place for bargains lol.

For a Mazda part, maybe. I rang our local dealer and got quoted roughly that for Marvin's… uh... replacement. It's not strictly the MX-3 part, so I rang around some motor factors and got that specific part for £60ish.
As for pukka MX-3 parts: Probe Store have rear bearings for £68-70 quid. They're listed under the 323F(BA), but they're the same part.
Or… you could look harder Ven, you muppet.

wish i knew that! all the places i tried were £140 + didnt know 323 parts would fit lol. mine is the v6 abs version so maybe thats why.

Eddy how did you get on mate?
hopefully its just the bearing and not the whole clutch, or warn fingers
on the pressure plate.
if you do need a new one I would personally spend the appropiate dough and buy an OE clutch like Valeo .

Hi Eddy, I had to do a clutch in my red one, I could hear a slight swoosh noise whenever I changed gear then it just went big time, that was the bearing. I ended up lifting the whole engine out and putting it back in a weekend, thats 2 people and about 18hrs work
Best thing is to go to a clutch center or try this guy in southampton
