Off the shelf exhaust
-
any body got one, a performance one that is not a standard replacement, ive seen a cat back system on ebay usa, but not over here. its around $200 + shipping which i imagine would be around the same.
THe other option is custom made, how much would i be looking at for a s/s catback system with a jap back box?? anybody any ideas or suggestions would be great!!
-
I d recomend going for a custom made system. But you need to find a decent place to do it. They ll be able to make it sound just the way you want and get the right look.
Some places ll charge anything from 250 to 400.
-
the bottom end price dont sound to bad! good that they can make it sound like i want too cos i dont want it too loud, more raspy than a low deep noise.
-
ExhaustsUK should sort it.

£280 for my cat back system fully custom and worth every penny also if u get

any body know the standard bore of the 1.6 exhaust, the new pipes i have are 2" ID, just wondering if that will be noticibly different?
-
dunno if n e one had the same problem but just fitted a savage exhaust system and had to cut the rear chassis slightly coz it fouled
-
is that not a bit dangerous??
-
dude cutting chassis slightly sounds a bit more than dangerous it holds the ares end of the car on and stops it twisting.
-
lol, i finjk u gt the wrong end of the stick, on the rear there is a bit of metal that drops down near the exhaust were mine was it fouled lightly to we just trimmed it slightly to fit.
nout dangerous about that
