Filetr to throttle body pipe?
-
Recently put an intake air filter in place of the standard box and noticed a small crack in the corregated part of the pipe leading from the throttle body, had it checked at my local garage and they said it would'nt do any harm so i have wrpped it in duck tape until i find a replacement.
Anyone know where i could get one? I tried all my local scrap yards and auto shops but nothing doing….. I would be up for putting one together myself if anyone has done this can you let me know?

Hello James you'd be suprised how often members get this, it does cause an issues but taping it up will suffice for now, as for a replacement its a hunting job and waiting until one pops up..
if your as you say using an after market filter can i presume its a cone one then check out Jay mx3 work log at his conversion for this …

as for replacements its mazda only part - £80
For an extra £20-30 you can get a mutts nuts induction kit for that

the total cost for pipeing was 80 bit it was for decent quality
