Dumbnuts question, Whats a Limited Slip Diff?
-
have a look here Lori…
-
They have been doing them for a while now, but they used to be £1500 about 4 years ago.
-
MFactory for the win!!!! Quaiffe quality half the price. It's been leaving lovely parallel lines of rubber :)
-
Marco, are they in the US? how much did you pay inc shipping?
-
Think this is the place your looking for…
-
$650 delivered with new NSK carrier bearings and high grade bolts. Think customs stuck the knife in for about £50 too. Thankfully the dollar was more favourable back then!
-
Bumped just for Jay!, didn't want to carry on in Marcos thread. Quaife is lower than you thought !. Not 1500. !. But I think you might have to use a Quaife approved installer for Warrenty I'm not sure.
-
Jay, I know you're going drag only but an LSD will mean more traction. Lower 60fts etc. Means you can best use both tyres, rather than one spinning whilst the other stands still. Still, for the money you could be adding nitrous oxide or something.

This is what Barrywhite has brought which is ok for dragging and improved over open diff but it is only a budget design at end of day. It's fine as a daily driver and enthusiastic driving but put it against a true diff like Quaife or hexi and it wont compare.
Kinda like re moulds vs bugget vs semi slicks
You get what you pay for!
