i own a 1.6 dohc does a 1.5 dohc even exist???? swear they made the jap 1.5 imports sohc i best look again on wikipedia

yeh i've seen a couple of 1.5 dohc in the scrappys and irish has one dont think they are all imports, think pre 94 might have been 1.5 dohc.

I have a mazda eunos presso 1500cc - 1995
Automatic transmission and Japanese import.Mine is silver and in superb condition - 40,000 miles only
It looked as though it had come straight out of the show room.
The only fault I found was a defective distributor lead which caused some panic at first and heavy fuel consumption for a while. Now that I have this fixed, it practically runs for ever on a full tank of petrol and goes like a little rocket.

yea the 1.5 is a great car! not dissing the 1.6 or anything!
are all the 1.6's SOHC? im going to bore my 1.5 out t be 1.6 by throwing in pistons from the 1.6.anyway heres why i think the 1.5 rocks! ok this is my model and not all the 1.5 are the same spec but take a lookey!

im thinking of getting the mx5 stage 1 cams, probe header and a polish and port i got a new(to me) head from tunes67 on mx-3.com for £145 delivered. so mine might be better than yours soon!!!! :lol:
nobody tell me i could have had a cheaper one!!! :evil: i did a parts request and they were like £900 from some places!!

hey wana see a cool car look up the mazda AZ-1 they are cool 660cc turbo and iv seen plenty done up for track and they have gullwind doors and all!
