NGK ignition leads…
-
nearly evry other mazda is listed on the NGK website, apart from the MX3
-
They sell iridium leads at fordprobestore matey, they arent denso but they are still iridium, i have kerr nelson and they are iridium, if there not i would be astonished.
-
probestore ones are red though unfortunately I need blue like kerr nelson..
& NGK's are blue and 30quid cheaper than the kerrs…might have to go splitfire, but they dont seem to have a good rep on the net!
-
doesnt garfy have spitfires? Also you could shrink wrap them like dj.
-
if the splits are good then I'll probably go with them ?!
-
I've got magnecors, they will make them to any spec you want that's how I got longer ones for the 2.5 cc.
-
ok just had word back from UK supplies of ngk leads and they have found some for usa market listing as mx3 precidia 1600 na 1996, does that sound about right ? thanks .
-
Yep that was it's badge in the Canadian Market. Just make sure you spec for either sohc or dohc
-
ok cool just checked and the Sixteen hundred is listed as dohc . lets hope they available
-
do they make much difference? have been looking at them myself.
-
No experience of performance leads myself, would probably only get the really expensive ones if I was to do a coilpack conversion at the same time.
NGK's are built to OEM spec I think, but there blue in colour so thats the main reason Im after them :D
-
could have got you a set of almost brand new black ones today for very cheap
-
Got to be blue Im afraid
-
can you not make a small polished cover to fit over them in the rocker cover
-
Thats a nice idea! :D
-
Ill have one for the V6 then
on another note sam, and sorry for hijacking this thread, heres a pic of the autozam engine, does the inlet manifold look different to yours, it has a few weird things on there I havent seen on others, no powersteering cooler and it uses metal pipes around to the steering rack, a pipe from the airbox that picks up cold air from under the car in front of the wheel and a few other things not usual with a standard car
-
cheeky! we'll have to find a way of securing them to the cam cover (drill & tap maybe?)
Yes a few differences there, i'll have to cross referneces the pics.
-
Ok the company off ebay who I was enquiring with cannot get hold of these through His supplier, but was kind enough to give me the part number. NGK Part number RC-ZE36
So I'll do a bit more digging and see what I can find :D
-
Found the blue NGK leads you are after for £55 inc P&P from the UK but shall I just tease you without giving you the link
-
