Sounds Like a Wheel Bearing to me.
usually cheaper to buy a hub from a scrapyard and swap it over.
Umm, it certainly isn't that, as the wheel bearings don't move (as far as I'm aware) when the car is in neutral and stationary.
It's a nice noise not a "Oh, somethings f**ked" noise if a supercharger sounds like a dodgey wheel bearing I won't be fitting one.
There's an underdrive pulley that fits the b6 too, from looking around on t'internet though there's quite a mixed reaction to them :/
@696355159c=Famine:
You should be fine with MX-5 bits. A B6 pulley is a B6 pulley - if it was internals, specifics would be desireable - but I shall ask my tame mechanics.
Was reading up on mx-3.com a while back and people have put in uprated MX-5 cams (set 180° out), pistons & stuff into the 4-banger '3. Meant to make a very healthy difference too.
As far as I know you can use the MX-5 1.8 engine. But there are 4 different 1.8 BP engines in the MX-5 and I'm not sure which one you need to use.
To be honest it would be cheaper to buy the 1.8 BP out of the Mazda 323.

Have a chat with Hammyglos, he had it done a few weeks ago here and if you are interested, PM me and I will try and get it sorted for between xmas and new year.
Any questions please ask.. I had it done… really good job.. really nice blokes too!! I got all my parts from Probestore too... Came quickly and wasn't badly priced... I did opt for the more expensive HQ stuff.

Mines been screaming like a mental case for some time now. I had a look to see about changing it, found the alternator belt and fan belt, looked at my hands, looked back at the tiny tiny tiny amount of space, shut the bonnet and took it to the garage.
The adjuster bolt is near the firewall, on the drivers side and the amount of room you have to play with (going in from the top) is miniscule and I'm not one for rolling on the floor what with the weather conditions at the moment, I've left it to someone who has a lift and a bigger hammer than me :lol:
@9cda6eb085=Jesta:
Hmmm, how can I connect it upto my induction kit? What if I spliced it into the crankcase breather hose?
What you would need is a T-pipe on the main breather pipe to attach it to.
Cheers for the help guys the car idles lovely after admin advice but it has now seemed to strangely become slower the pickup just isnt as nippy as it was when it was runnin like crap i no that sounds stupid…still think its runnin rice morevadvice welcome :D

Bumper looks poo though, FMIC FTW but it looks TOOOOOO much, takes over too much of the front end, rest of the car is spot on though.
sometimes its function over form , not for me though
got to be factory look.

remaps at angel tuning cost around £200 for minimal gains on a non turbo petrol engine. you will feel a difference and it will feel more plucky (on a 1.6 you could maybe expect as much as 10bhp) but on a turbo diesel (lets say 150bhp before remap) you could quite easily get that figure to over 200-210bhp. if it is free then give it a go but try not to fk up your ecu lol.
and yes as jesta said, if you have 4 yellow connectors on your ecu i believe it to be obd2 whereas if you only have 3 it should be obd1.
good luck with the remap, i am sure if it is successful there will be a few people on here that will want it done so you may have accidently set you friend up with a new business :lol:
I don't think he'd mind the extra money coming in :wink: Although it would be a hell of a way for some people to come.
This is the ideal way to scilicone a sump
Drop the oil first. (really let it all drain out)
Clean sump with brake cleaner.
Put a short fat self tapping screw in the hole, then clean / dry off with brake cleaner again. (the brake cleaner will actually dry it off as it evaporates really quickly) Put scilicone around the head of the screw before you put it in too.
Then cover sump with good quality automotive scilicone. (not household stuff). Cover the whole underside of the sump.
Let it go off for 24 hrs before you fill it with oil.
Seen them last years done like this.

this Mx3 is an import so not sure if the rad would be the same. Im guessing the 1.6 and V6 rads are different?
The eunos and uk are the same rads, think 1.6 and 1.8 are different but they wont be much different if there is any
