some real motoring fun again  :D 8)I used to use the 206 all the time before the MX3 came along with all it's little foibles and it was a good laugh. I was doing bits to it and did have other plans for it but then the wallet grabbing Mazda came along
I'm backing up all my old searches and wondering about putting my 17's (multi fit, so should go) on it, but I'd have to do them a different colour (white on silver, no no).
I will miss the Mazda but as you guys know I've had an absolute love/hate relationship recently and it is no longer deeming a financial suitability, especially in this rising economic climate
-
Just found an epic picture of how it should be done when I have the 206 back in my grubby little paws

rats look good with a crazy drop( cut springs) and widen steelys…just a thought :)
Way ahead of you bud, I've been into the Rat scene since 2008 so I know the score, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a decent set of steelies for this thing at the moment though!
you're not trying hard enough:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-Toyota-Yaris-Steel-Wheel-Tyre-/330543618323
Same PCD, same bore, 15x5.5J, ET39. Fit straight on. Set of 205/55R15s will look nice and fat on them and is inside the tyre spec for rim size.
Snap to it!

Bit of a hazard not having any rear lights

Yeah, I think I'll not be going all the way smoothed out like.

Yeah but I just got some for £20 and close to me

The Bonrat is under way, it's not being as easy as I anticipated to be honest though, as well as the factory paint, I had done a couple of coats of matt black (with primer) and then a couple of coats of satin black(also with primer).
So, here's how it is looking right now
I actually quite like it.
I'm preparing for a photoshoot on the weekend involving fire
-
You've been watching too much top gear! You need some naked ladies with the fire

Lol. I could try and enroll some alcoholics?

I think you should raffle off the seperate body parts and invite people to send you spray cans of paint for their chosen panel

Spray cans, paint brushes, rollers. Whatever anyone wants. My preferred method is a rotary sander and salt
-
PM me your address as I have a can of spray you can have for free 8)

Ghetto axe inflicted bonnet vents?

Ghetto axe inflicted bonnet vents?
It was only when I was sanding the bonnet I was thinking this also
-
So then my pumpkins, the bonnet is back on and finished(ish).
And just to let the un knowing folk of the real world
It was put to me that the hazard tape would look better below the doors across the sills, so I took it off and put some new on
(looks better)I found myself an old viper stripe in my loft and cut it up and made a mask for the sunroof
Step 1:
Step 2:
Step 3:
Step 4:
Little bit of overspray, but hell, who cares
This thing is turning out to be right laugh and I'll say it's the most fun I've had modifying this car. Peoples reactions are priceless, people nearly breaking their necks doing double takes, oncoming drivers baffled or in hysterics and best of all, when I park up at work, no-one wants to park anywhere near me so I get a little bit of carpark all to myself
The alloys will be coming off this weekend and being replaced with some fetching steel wheels that will be given a nice coat of red to match the wing and roof.
-
Holy shoot!

Hahaha brilliant mate, very creative too.

Hehe, cheers Foxy  I'm thinking of chequering the spoiler and wing mirrors to match the sunroof, may be a little trickier than the nice flattish big squarish bit of roof but, I think it will go well.
Picking up some steels tomorrow and gonna spray them red and possibly white wall the tyres (might even red wall them?).
