DILLIGAF?: Project Ratty

@0cb784e896=youdirtyfox:
blackboard paint ftw! 8)
Apparently it's called "murdering out" your car. Funny, I called it spraying my car Flat Black when I did it to my Civic about 4 years ago (about 3 years before a "murdered" car was featured in Fast Car and I stole the idea from old muscle cars). It's a shame I never finish my projects off because my ideas obviously ROCK!

I thought your car was a four pot?? Surely V6 engine don't go in your car?? Loom issues I believe??? Hope I'm wrong
-
You see, I started the civic project in 2007, codename project "bitch!" after my ex had taken me for everything and left me homeless and with a broken car.
The first "murdered" car was featured in Fast Car in 2010. But I had this car on many forums with many viewers and haters

Funny that isn't it….. Possibly looms can be changed and mounts and what not

Thats a lot of work, plus the possibilty of it not going to plan, have you estimated how long it will take you? You'll certainly hate your car if that goes bad! Rather you than me!! Easier to buy a V6 MX3 IMO

Yeah, Famine and Venari said the same thing too, there is a back up plan though 8)

Go for it!! Mod worth doing as you can take it off car and put on another/sell, probably cheaper than doing a V6 conversion too :D

Yeah, that's what I was saying bud, but it wasn't called that until magazines named it that. I did my Civic matte black, with matte black wheels and matte black interior 3 years ago after seeing a Dodge Charger done like it 2 years prior to that. I'm not saying I was the fore front in this "scene" but after I had my car on a fair few forums, matte black cars seemed to be popping up everywhere in the UK. I wish I'd done my original idea and gone for matte poo brown.

matt black cars, first time I ever saw them was on Robocop as police cars, not sure if mad max's car was gloss or matt either

Exactly, it's not a new thing and the Interceptor is just knackered paintwork style. 8)

This the reason I suggested blackboard paint :D
you could have a new design everyweek

Until it rains and it looks like a rainbows skidmark

In the winter my DD becomes completely murdered out as I put on the winter rims/tires… they are flat black too! 8) Eventually I would like to do it proper with vinyl... but I'm happy for now.

Weight shedding and streamlining anyone?
(there's no mirrors on it BTW)

Why are there no mirrors?
