Mmm hmm and I know what Famine said about the significance of the flame badge but I was getting sick of people thinking it was a Hyundai  (plus I think the flame badge looks cheap).
-
Also might be a bit pointless seeing as I'm thinking of selling up, but I'm getting these seats off my friend in a couple of months
-
very nice seat would look very good in your mx

Once they've been refurbed and dyed black, they will :)

It's an old pic before his dog had a chew on one of them. Don't think I'll be selling them as they can be put in any car :P
-
Dogs are good at that, mine chewed my drivers seat in my van while i was paying for fuel, couldn't work out what people were laughing at until i opened the door to get in.

Well it looks like the old girl has survived again, I haven't heard anything about the Celica so I've turned my plans back to the MX3. It still hasn't been lowered and I think I won't be doing it now for some time due to the time of year and the furious amount of overtime I'm putting in at work.
So the plans for the new year:
I'll be getting the seats as I said previously and also giving the whole interior a fresh look; Carpets, door cards, rear seats, and new front seats, roof lining and grey plastics will all be getting dyed black using fabric dye and black paint (it's gonna be dark in there!).
Lowering will be done at some point as will the negative camber and this will leave me wanting a new set of shiney dished wheels and also a nice new paint job (getting the bodywork sorted out at the same time)- I'm thinking a nice pearl white.
So guys (and girls) you can breathe a sigh of relief as I will be staying for a while (and I'll get onto my mate about the site stickers too).

I have an email address for a guy with all black leather door cards fronts and rears in mint condition for £48 inc P&P

Wife's not working next weekend. Come on over and we'll do the springs. Have to do it on the front, but it's level enough. I'm out of axle stands though, so you'll need to bring at least one.

**You watch it absolutely piss it down now.
At worst, at least you can come look at my carpet. Fnarr.**

Ooo err, matron. I think my carpet shall be fine what with me hoping to get this dye and do the whole inside of the car. I'll bring me big fek off beer garden parasol with me (which wasn't taken from the Plimsole Line honest  ).

**Bert's caused us a couple of headaches today - both the passenger side springs were an absolute piece of piss to fit, probably not even taking up 30 minutes each. The driver's side front snapped one of the two lower bolts, giving us 90 minutes of problems until Marvin donated one of his and the driver's side rear we didn't finish because one of the two lower bolts cheesed up and rounded off - we're going to cut it off tomorrow and replace it with another spare from Marvin.
In the meantime, look out for a tripod MX-3 **

Bert's starting to settle :D It looks good for not having to modify the yard too to get in and out :)
Yes, as you said it was a complete epic fail on the driver side but I believe we handled it quite well, there were no strops or expletives (much  ).
We'll crack on tomorrow and I'll bring some beer (what's your poison Fam?) and a fresh grinding disc :twisted:Oh, and on another thought, a modified Del Sol boot lid could work
-
Proof we didn't stand around all day drinking coffee
It has lowered a little but after a few weeks I'm sure it will be far more noticeable although Famine did say she was a little close to scraping the splitter as I came off the driveway
-
**I was marginally concerned you hadn't been online yet  I can just see that MX-delSol now :D Certainly unique at any rate.
I'm partial to Theakston's Old Peculier, Wychwood Hobgoblin and Wells Banana Bread. This house is rarely without a bottle of at least one :D
To think, we were just one bolt away from a complete win. It'll all be good tomorrow…**

Too true. I had to turn back and help the missus out at her Grand dads putting his new freezer in, which was great as his street is cobbled and let me feel every cringe worthy knock (I definitely need to get the front end looked at and sorted soon I think  ).
