looking realy good mate good work
Cheers, I just wish it could have been something a little more exciting ie: "Look, I've finally lowered my car" or "here's my 1.6 now with an Eaton M45 super charger".
I'm sat here on the pooter, drinking Fosters and my GF's credit card is sat next to the monitor staring at me and tempting me to buy some Rota RB's…...
I better move it quickly
lol all the little touches make it even more differant than all the other mx's out there

We saw him driving through town the other day and waved. My wife said "Well, you wouldn't mistake him for someone else at any rate."

Hehe, yes, I was on a boredom trek, I went for a blast over to Guisborough and back before coming back and cleaning the car.
-
I'd just got back from Cologne in Blue, so my wife gave it a five-hour clean and polish - spooky. We were on our way to do some photography in various places (the best is up in my fleet thread).
-
Did some more carbon wrapping on the centre console today.
This is the first attempt and I'll probably take it all apart and do it again at some point (seeing as I got the top section weave going in the wrong direction  )

Not too shabby mate!

Bjesus I'm bored and a little down (the missus is away for the weekend :( ) so I went to a grave yard to take some Emo pics
and afterwards I gave Bert a good ol thrashing
twice.

Some news here to tickle Famine, I've just ordered my springs, -40mm.
-
Well, going to try and tackle the suspension on saturday and I've just ordered this in my quest for decent leather interiorness
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230346986645
And as some of you may have seen by the title change I'm now gonna be going for a VIPJDM look, so keep a close eye out, because I'm gonna be going for a smooth, deep dished and positively shiney and classy look for this old beater ;)
-
Another disappointing weekend. Weather has rained off doing the springs and also the well needed inside and out clean of the car :(
On a positive note, my leather armrest came yesterday morning and after a little bit fabric adhesive it was fitted and it looks good, so much so that I have made an enquiry to a local re trimmers about getting my seats trimmed in leather to go for the full VIP interior look (I've heard good things about this company from Famine so I'll just see what they say).
-
so whats the VIP thing all about then? :D
be interested in the price you get for leather retrim :)

And then there's going mental with it

Actually, I was down there last week - they repaired a leather seat (one of Marvin's suede/leather jobs) for me

The repair was £48 - basically the cost of a single panel.
