woah. im doing that. my camera is an HS10, so I think it has manual 30 second exposure, those pics are superb.
-
Thanks man, cool have fun experimenting :D
In an aim to clean up the engine bay I done that frowned upon thing!
also mocking up a cover for the wiper motor.
Pink rocker cover to be changed to chrome powder coat along with red leads
at some point. Also want to make another washer bottle but for under the scuttle panel this time
:bigok:From cardboard mock up to the real thing in aluminium….
..not to sure about how good it will look, needs welding, shaping & paint.
-
So this afternoon the Wife and Her sowing machine helped make a new gear gaitor, using a GTA San Andreas limited edition bandana that I found in my box of stuff at my Mums…
Im thinking it needs the bottom of a shot gun cartridge on top of the gear knob :o
-
haha brilliant! need a hand grenade gear knob
-
Haha yeah would totally look the part, that might force the gearstick through the floor again
I've not see anyone do a pistol grip handbrake lever yet?!~

Have started work on a hack job single wiper conversion, this is a spare motor arm I got today and by extending it 10mm I'm hoping to get more sweep on the middle wiper. Not quite sure its going to work yet, will get this welded up and have a play at some point.
Made one of these before for my 205 but a slightly different method, failed the MOT once with it before as it used to park up the middle, wont do that again, lol
EDIT> Got our welder on this this morning, if only He spoke English He wouldnt of welded it on the wrong way round so I had to cut it again and turn it round and get him to do it again, lol It frikin works though! fitted it up in the gale we are having down here this afternoon shitting myself the bonnet was going to blow down on my fingers! No guts no glory as they say

and this it where it parks.

Retro racing go faster stripes in effect.. Not as easy as you think to lay these down!
wasted 10m of it already so will have to get some to do the other side/try a few other designs.
-
That wiper looks sweet :)
You are going to have to do a how to for that :)
Stripes look good, I'd have done them slightly darker thou.
-
wiper looks good may have to try that lol
stripes look good too :bigok:
way better that what i tried to do also agree its not easy stuff to do to make
look straight lol in the end i just did a bit to the bonnet and gave up on the sides lol
-
Some really good work lately man! Wiper and gator looks cool as fuck, you should make a few more of the single wiper setups and sell 'em on ;)
Pinstriping looks great, I wouldn't bother with a flourish or anything at the end, think it looks superb the way it is.
-
Hey Thanks Gents! Picked a great day to test out the mono wiper !! Luckily it is alot lot better then on the 205 and gave great coverage and wiped very fast. Will do a "how to" at some piont> maybe after its MOT?!
You just got to add in 10mm though exactly like I have to wiper motor arm(on the upper level of it) and it needs to be welded, not bolted or riveted. The Gold will match the new wheel centre colour, but that's a good few months off yet ;)
-
…new wheels or just new colour?
-
New wheels. :D
-
Ha class! So, wide and gold, any more details?
-
3pc Polished lip with gold centres. 16x8 up front & maybe 16x9 rear. Offset unknown as yet but I do know which make after numerous photoshops :D
-
in love the wiper! nice job on that
-
Thanks Fidoo feel free to use the idea although I've not quite finished it yet as It could really do with a much straighter wiper arm (probably off the back of something) and I think I have just found the perfect little water bottle to hide under the wiper cowling for the pump.
EDIT> Now using the rear wiper arm of a Ford Mondeo, its alot straighter meaning the wiper doesn't sit so far up the screen.

The Wifes been quite busy lately with a new venture so that's given me lots of time to play with turbos
and do some research on where exactly I'm going to hook shit into and what extra pipeage I going to need.
Over the last two days ive hit up the cooling system T pieces and oil hoses and tonight I put together
my plans for the Intercooler and boost pipes. It may end up looking a little different to this once finished and installed
Still need plenty more elbows joiners, clips etc and everything in the picture is probably not in the exact location but this is kinda the way I hope its going to play out.
I have left most of the alu pipes long so they can machined true and to size then welded.
I have another post to put up on here detailing the VJ Turbo water and oil connections that Im hoping will form into a How to…one day...
-
Is that a screamer pipe I see there?
-
Nope 'fraid not.
