Sam's Proper MX-3 - LT Turbo project *Parting out*
-
just a couple of pictures before they go off
for painting, they do need some finishing work aswell
bit rough round the base plate edges!
apart from that I like 'em, will see how
they look on later just need some screws.
-
They don't look half bad at all… :P
-
yeah was afraid they were going
to be too much, but it think it'll work.
The quality of the plastic is ok enough
to leave unpainted I reckon.
-
Would look better painted IMO
-
Better with some colour I agree.
but all of it, or just the bases?
-
now i'm torn…..
Just the bases does it for me!!!
-
Think im going to go fully red with them,
so they look part of the car and not a feature point.
-
looking good keep up the good work
-
Cheers mate, I am :D
Been having a bit of a cleanup
inside and fitting those aero wipers
DJ posted about, there pretty decent
for the money! The ones with washer
jets in can wait till I can afford to debadge
and denozzle the bonnet. My fully stock interior.
and my fully stock engine bay.
-
Thought i would chuck on the flyeye
roundels I have for the rear lights
to see the effect it had..

@3171d318c3=youdirtyfox:
measured up lunchtime
for said alfa 156 spoiler,
using the dims. I got off
an ebay seller and the work calipers…..Tip to tip at the front: 123cm
Tip to tip at the back:112cm
Front to back on Mounting plinths: 50cm
Mounting plinth width: approx 2 inches
Ok so heres the first look at a genuine Alfa Romeo spoiler on an MX-3
-
that spoiler makes me …. :(
-
nevermind mate, it makes me :D
-
That will look good, once cut and fitted :D :D
-
Yep, needs doing keith feels well naked with the garnish.
-
LOL, since I got my RS spoiler I have never seen another one for sale, that will look the nuts on there hopefully in time for japfest :P
-
Rare bit of kit indeed! Mirrors should be on for japfest
as they have just gone it for painting…. but I seriously
doubt the spoiler will, its going to be alot of work and may
even involve a spare bootlid in the kitchen to work with :?
I think its going to look good though 8)
-
OH it will definately look good when done, I am currently looking at rear diffusers to get the back end to look a bit lower
-
just a quick snap after I got the mirrors
back from the paint shop and test fitted
them up again, just need to figure
out the three wire colours now.
If anyone else is going for these mirrors, you need
to buy 10 of 2" x 12" screws and some
sticky back draft excluder to fit them up.
-
The wiring diagram is available on some of the US ebay listings for similar mirrors, when I had a set i found the diagram on one of them
