Hi, Does anyone know where i can buy Angel Eye headlights for my MX3 V6, 1993-1994 model… i have seen a few cars with them done but cant find a retailer, altho i have been told i might have to fit the honda civic angel eyes into it with slight body mod'ing, is the correct or does anyone know where to get them????
im kinda going for this look once im finnished mod'ing mine, have the body kit sitting, just need a sprayer and fitter, and also have to buy the wing for the baby, altho mine is gonna stay red, with maybe a slight orange flick through it.

oh another note, im also about to have a service done on the car, i can do the simple things myself like plugs, leads.and stuff, but wot i was looking at is changing my oil and filter etc, now i can get a kit that also give wynn's engine flush fluid with it, can anyone shed any light on how this is used and also how easy it would be to do a full oil change etc on this car, i have a noisey tapped and been told this should fix it without massive garage costs, any help would be greatly appreicated... im also going to kick my local garage sales man in the nuts, coz the prick put 10/30 or 10/40 oil in me car when it should have been 0/40, could explain the tappet right enough.... thanks again

hey i asked about this before. cant remember who but think it may have been rsroadkilla. said that they are not made for the mx-3. however the people that have them on there's are some sort of honda civic model angel eyes that require some slight mod'n of your car to insert.

Mainly people use Civic projectors, but it needs a fair amount of modding to do. I will dig out a giude for ya.
Some also mod the original lights to fit projectors in, but thats in the states and MOT's just require that they HAVE lights.

this is very true

Why not, as long as the light shines in the right place, ie not into the eyes of on-coming traffic they should pass.

Legality asside, I would be very suprised if you got pulled over for them, aftermarket projectors are pretty common now. Unless you did a poor job of it of course!
Only issue would be MOT, but you always swap over your old ones for that.
-
looking at the step by step link i put up.. i cant really see a problem with that conversion as you are still leaving the adjusters in to cover for the directions of the light. etc
-
The only problem would be getting them legal to pass an MOT, its not as easy to get right as you would think unless you have access to MOT testing stuff.

There are several threads in the US forums about custom projectors but nothing has been sold yet. Only a few people have completed their own custom unique sets.
I did the civic projectors years ago and it's not too difficult (dremel and time). But if I remember they do not have the "E" mark for use on euro cars. I suppose you could get inspected with them off then put them back on after inspection :D
