1.8 v6 freedoms engine

can someone tell me if a 2.5 v6 loom will fit the 1.8v6, and will the ecu from a 2.5 v6 run the 1.8 v6,
and is the loom split in 2 ie engine bay and interier of car or is it one big loom

There's a loom for the engine that goes to all sensors, some relays and to the plugs in the ECU. Not sure about swapping in a 2.5 loom… Not sure why you'd want to!

well that saves taking out half the interiour, but defo need to no if a 2.5 one wil dothe job i cant see y not either

well plugging a 2.5 loom, into a 2.5 ecu, which you will need, as mine kept gettin spiked.. shouldnt be a problem at all jon

well its weather the 2.5 ecu will work on the 1.8 and weather all the rite connectors are on it to fit ur engine

jon, its not a 1.8
its a klze de hybrid. it runs off a 2.5 ecu

well in that case if it runs off that ecu the harness should be gd with it to then

why do you want to use a 2.5 harness anyway?

well their is one in my local scrap yard , an chris said his keeps blowing up ecu's

and what's wrong with your current harness? Is this because it's OBDII?

chris said his ecu keeps getting spiked, an said might be easyier to swap it out than try to find the fault
