I was wondering how to do this.
Have spent a long while trying to find out, the only thing i found was this.

Theres a wire to cut from the ecu i think.
I would run this through a key switch local to the ecu so you can turn the limiter back on, should anyone else borrow your car !!
One thing in mind is that at 120mph the gearbox is running almost at redline, I would worry that redline at that speed would equal something blowing! In therory the k8 box should reach 146mph the mx6 box should reach 155mph as it has a higher 5th. For top speed this is the better box to have. And makes for better fuel consumption on motorways.

Thats awsome help lads well done.
Will probably put a switch in as that sounds like a good idea, but could not live with a top speed of 118 mph for track days. My K8 went faster :D

rofl get the klze in the car first and say that. 118mph is perfectly fine with klze
beleive me that engine dont half get up there quick and if u want top speeds like others have said swap 5th gear from an mx6 personally i have no problem with 118mph speed restricton as if u are reacing with a klze once u hit 3rd gear most boy racers dissappear

Wont be using top speed on the roads, but on the track will deffinatly. The last track day i had entry speeds of over 100mph and then on the exits i was running out of puff.
I gave up worrying about gary boys a long time ago.
