Having found water in my fuel tank, I got the car into the garage to have the problem looked at and…..its all bad news!
Pictures will follow over the weekend but when the fuel tank got removed along with it came the whole filler matrix and most of the inner wing. On further inspection the whole back n/s of the car is rotten through...bad times. Looked into re-shelling but just cant afford to do it.
So its time to move on. :( :( :( I will be posting up in the for sale section but everything must go. KLZE with straight neck inlet, induction kit, KL31 ECU, Exedy Clutch, 6-1 headers, decat, exhaust UK custom exhaust, reconditioned to new rear calipers and new rear brakes (just fitted) 45 mm lowering springs, bodykit, steering wheel boss, half leather and alcantara interior incl door cards, 4 point harnesses, short shifter, new black M3 mirrors with indicators, used carbon GEN2 mirrors with indicators......basically anything that I can take off will be sold!!!

Awh man that sucks :( was a really clean mx. Surely you could moved most things over to a cheap ebay mx and be rockn again? You getting something else then?

I had thought about a swap into another car, but finding a clean MX V6 would cost me £600-£800 and its money I just dont have. Wanting to start again with another project I think. Either Evo or MR2 turbo but not sure yet.
This is the most powerful front wheel drive car I would ever want to own and it has been amazing but after 3 years and a year with my KLE it is time to move on…..Sucks though, and just before show season too! I am booked in at STSS (donny) mod nats, Rising Sun, Jap Show and hoping for 2 or 3 others!

dont u dare SELL THOSE PARTS!!!!! get a cheap mx-3 on ebay and swap it over damn u i dont wanan be only guy in east midlands with a klze have no one to talk to at local shows/meets. (although would be cool being only person with klze swap :D ) but seriously dont fooking do it if u need help with reinstalling give me a shout im only 30mins / hour drive from u and would be happy to lend u a hand.
i brought my v6 off a friend who wrecked the crank for £150 the body work is in decent nick but the engine was totalled. but i wasnt bothered since i was gonna klze swap it anyway. have a look around for something like that

mate as much as i want your interior and the bumper etc. dont get ride of the parts. its not worth it. get one off ebay. ill have a good look out for you and swap what ever you want over, it will be much more worth it in the end and you will only get pissed with everyone driving your old car. (i was like this when i sold my 100 nx) was not impressed.
and no offence, you mention bout 600 for a good mx3. but then you state evo… dude!!!!

i know that I could buy one, but then I would need another while I transfer everything over then its bodywork time to get it all matched up again and looking the way I want it.
Had 6 months on the road with the KLZE and its been amazing fun but just fancy a change. If I could keep the car and re-shell it I would… really I would love to but the temptation to go buy something diferent has just taken over.
And Evo wont be for a while, I'm hoping to get promoted at work and if I do its more money to save up for a few months and buy something at the end of the summer..... or card it and deal with it later!!!!!

selling parts seperately is an option but was hoping to sell as a whole for someone else to make the most of it. If you want the engine without ECU, VAF, clutch, exhaust or anything pm me.
