Air Flow Meter

guys, i need help.
My cars been in the garage the last while and the mechanic reckons theres a problem with air flow meter.
He's sayin they cost around 350 euro(245 pound).
Anyone know where i could get one cheaper?

dear god for that money you may as well buy a piggyback ecu! I'd just get one from a scrappy, don't hear of them breaking very often.
