I dread anything major going on mine ,it's only got to take a hit and it would probably be a write off ,I was amazed the other day when I rang my local Mazda dealer ,I asked was there any chance he could help me with a caliper part number ,he came back with the number within minutes ,it was a pity he didn't have the caliper ,it was out of stock

@mushman I too was amazed last year when I actually had a notification of a recall for the ignition switch from Mazda. They took the car in and completed the work in 2 hours from my phone call replying to their notice. Fantastic service for a 32 year old car. !!

I to had a recall a couple of years ago ,and it was dealt with in the same way ,I couldn't believe that the recall had been kept on record that long especially as I am the third owner .I am thinking of joining my local Mx5 club ,they seem a really nice bunch of guys and have said I can join any of their run outs, They were all over my Mx3 when I went along to a group meeting. It's nice to be among like minded folk

@mushman Whereabouts are you Mushman, maybe a double MX3 at a MX5 meet could be on the cards if mine doesn't sell!!

@mushman I know Barton Turf from my sailing days on the Broads. We used to camp at Oby near Thurne Windmill and spenf the evenings in The Red Lyon. I was last there for my 60th birthday weekend when we hired a Juliette from Martham and cruised the broads for my celebration. Back in sailing days we used to hire half deckers from Herbert Woods for the week and then sail up the Ant to Barton and the Thurne to Hickling and Horsey Mere. Great days!! Not beyond the possibility of joining you on a run out if the MX3 can get there!!
-
I forgot to mention that I have had my Mx 10 years so far, it's had 3 owners (2 ladies ) and it's never been owned out side of East Anglia ,which is probably why it's in fairly good order ,it was a lucky purchase but that's another story

It's a small world ,I live just by the Cox boat yard ,I did have a Shetland crusier for many years and regularly sailed the broads ..We occasionally hire a dayboat from either Wrexham or Ludham these days
It's become very popular down here lately lots of cannoers and board sailors .I am sure that two mx3 would be more than welcome..I have been promised a list of the club's forth coming runs ,watch this space

OK great, I am currently having health issues which should be diagnosed in July. Once I know what my abilities are I'll give it every chance of getting up to join you at a meet, so please put the list on here when you have it and we'll see what can be done!!
