Just bought a 1.8v6SE needs a bit TLC, this is my second Mx3 so I'm used to a few of their idiosyncrasies, quick question tho speedo stopped working would it be the sensor?

Welcome to the club.. again :)
It could be a couple of things, I'd probably start by testing the sensor, then looking at the speedo unit.
