Turbo or no?

Hi guys I'm new to this site :) just looking for some tips on getting the most out of my k8,
Is it possible/wise to fit a turbo on a k8?
If it is what else will I need to upgrade? Thanks

I woul start at KLZE engine swap, its just as good a turboing the K8
Most people get the KLDE and turbo that as that is an extra 50bhp on top of the k8 just from an engine swap and then follow on from there :)

:) thanks for the reply. Is it easy to turbo the k8? As I wouldn't like to swap the engine just yet. Do you know any kits for it?

Yep as said, easier to swap the engine than turbo for the V6! Turbo kits always need some adjustment (cut&weld pipes), cross member modification, oil pan tapped for return, engine management…
Engine swap is much more straight forward in and out affair. Though turbo for me is/was a much more fun drive :) Turbo KL was definitely made a lot easier by having my own welder. Can't imagine how many trips I would have had to of made for welds!
