Parts - Need help installing tial wastegate

Hey.. Im getting a bit confused here.. ok the valve seat… according to the diagram.. the little groove is supposed to be facing the valve right?

And then the bottom portion bolts up tpo the exhaust manufold? It came with 2 flanges.. which i dont know what they are for..

Could those flanges just be spacers??

I think I got it. :D turns out the flanges are if you are making your own pipes.

The bottom nipple goes to boost, the top one vent to air.

The valve seat , the flat surface faces down and the groove faces up. :D
