Thanks for sharing the link !
Also comes in handy when looking for other brake disks with similar bolt pattern.

Why not just do a 5 stud swap from a mazda 323?

That way you know its bullet proof.

It's a lot of cash for something that (from my understanding) won't help push the wheels out to fit the coilovers. Larger brakes are on the cards for the future, but not for a while.
-
Lori, what coilovers you got? I had issues with my k sports coilovers. My rear tyres were rubbing the springs on the back I got around it by fitting skinnier springs on the struts. Just wondering if you have the same problem?
-
I have zero clue bud, will PM you a few images.
It might be just because the car is in the air right now, so the wheels are bowed in toward the frame, but I can't see how that would impact anything as the distance between the bottom of the strut and the inner rim wall is static.
-
I see what your trying to do now.
You could use wheels with a different Offset.
Or
You can get spacers if its only a few mm you need to move. You can get bigger ones like this but they are no good for the MX-3 as it uses nuts not bolts.
Or
You can get big spacers that work the same as the stud conversion ones you linked to, but they don't change the stud pattern.
AND
If you move them out too much you might need to stretch the tyres to get them to fit without rubbing OR roll the arches OR both.
-
I'll go for the bigger ones, I've got 4 sets of rims, each one with new rubber so I'd rather not have to buy new ones lol
Thanks Admin, Appreciated

The 'Pictured shims' can be used on mexy's if its only 'mm' your'e trying to gain, by drilling two small holes in the shim, countersinking them and then centralising the shim on the inner mounting face of the wheel and drilling tapping into wheel using 4mm screws.
It obv depends on your wheel structure but carefull assesment of each screws location would allow the shims to mounted to wheels permanently assisting when fitting/removing wheels :)I have done this on several modified project vehicles where small clearances for 'ball joint boots' and suspension components are all that is required
The centralising of shim is only mm crititical an can be done by 'eye' if required but as always…...... "measure twice, cut/drill once!!!"

Oh! PS always wise to re balance wheels anyway after any mods at any corner, especially fronts :)
