well its a quick fix as my standard intake pipe has split :( currently full of tape ;),…. hmm polish or pint my rocker cover ?
-
Polished would be alot of work to keep looking mint, Gulfy on here does a wicked paint job for cam covers or you try chrome powder coat which is what Im having done it should give a polished effect with low maintenance.

Yeah, I've got springs but they're on a set of gas bilstein shocks and I'll only be selling them as a set.

Not had mine done yet, but it wont be too long. Although if you google image search "chrome powdercoat" you will get a general idea of what to expect.

according to adrian flux all mx3's are SE's bud. i can bet you my life that yours is not i'm afraid. people recommend flux but i really find them expensive. your best bet will be to shop around
I use go the compare website and am currently insured with axa insurance for £408 fully comp (transfered from my rover 25 1.4 at £400 fully comp, yeah work that one out!)
flux are cheap if you do limited mileage but if you are like me then thats not an option lol
-
well sky have said the same lol, im nt bothered haha only want insurance sky have coe in at 1557 lol no chance am paying that 937 is the cheapest at the min
-
how old are you and how many years no claims do you have? i have never paid more than £1200 since i started driving at 18 lol
-
22, with 4 years no claims lol, before the mx3 i had a bmw 320i and that wa sonly 678 or somthing

now thats odd because i had a BMW 320i before my FTO and the BMW was more expensive to insure than both, the FTO and MX3. I guess it depends on the company i guess. AXA wont take you because of your age (i think) and neither will swift cover as they are the same company. All i can suggest is shop around. the only reason i sold my first mx3 was because the insurance doubled to nearly £800 (was paying £396 for that one) and now its come down to a reasonable price again. i dont understand how it went up because i was a year older and had another years no claims. insurance eh!
