KLZE headers… fitment
-
I'm guessing seen as they are made for a probe/mx6 they will need shortening slightly to fit onto the mx3 where the flexi-pipe is but for £125 including delivery I can hardly say no can I??
Do they need shortening or is it a straight swap???

Nice, those are the same as what I have bought. They fit, but if you are using stock piping you need to cut your existing pipe back about 6-8" to make room for the secondary. Your cat will still work.

not using anything stock! I have a decat pipe and from the cat back is an Exhaust UK Cobra system. Take it that means I will have to cut this back or have it professionally fitted then? If this is 6-8 inches longer than the normal car one I will simply get it cut short and re welded.
I take it you mean to move the cat toward the back if the car and cut the pipe behind it for ease of fitment?

You can get it done at a shop, they will need to cut the old pipe and reweld it, the cat shouldnt have to be moved.

wilko you do have a klze right?
I had mine installed at a shop, I got a new cat and then 2.5" piping after that out to a huge muffler… they just cut and then welded to the new cat the headers...
