Chassis Number

Anyone tell me how to locate the chassis number, i need a ball joint and dont know if its 16mm or 18mm and the chassis number will sort that up :S

is the chassi number not the VIN number? (dont quote me though)

my mate told me that aswell but the chassis number with the part ie before or after dont match my VIN

i think your chassis number can be found on your V5 doc.

yup, along with your engine number. might be interesting to find it on the car and make sure they're the same though :P

on most cars they're stamped on the right of the drivers seat under the carpet or around the engine bay somewhere, more modern cars have them displayed in the windscreen under the dash :?
