is this front fogs because mine doesnt light up either

yup, the little switch in the centre console for the fogs….there's a bulb, should light up green!
My bulb looked intact, but on closer inspection, the small wrap around wires were broken, so it wasn't making a connection. I need to remove it again to try and get the bulb type!

here it is…cant see any identification on it...so god knows how i source a new one!!
-
that looks like an ordinary sidelight bulb but it could be the huge pic lol. best bet would be to buy a whole unit off a scrapper i expect mate
-
trust me, its tiny!!
if you look in the pic, top left, you can see the jewellers screwdriver…..
-
oh christ yeah. thats a massive precision screwdriver you got there haha. try and find an led or an old torch ;)

Yes you can buy them… not sure if you have "Radioshack" stores over there but here's further details:

thanks Mooneggs, you are correct, those are the type I need and I found them in our version of Radioshack-Maplins!
I will pick some up and repair the switch. Looks like a green filter inside of the rocker switch, so I will stick with clear or green bulbs.
thanks again!

fixed! Right after buying some online, I realised I still had a box full of MX6 parts, found an old switch, removed the bulb, refitted to the MX3 holder and voila, the switch now illuminates….!

For future reference you can get them in any motor factors, I had to replace 3 in my car (not an mx3) cost me 17p each, I just took in the bulb, most of them come across bulbs enough to know exactly what it is, I have a spare bulb still in its box so Ill get the number off it for your future reference
