throwing vinegar over each other playing chip shop owner ! rusted the damn car!
-
Just watched the video,
please keep us posted i wanna know what his response to your video is!
-
Stuff like that keeps me away from buying a car via ebay or similar. My car sure isn't perfect - but at least I could take a look and give it a test drive before deciding to buy.
It really is a shame with your car. Did give a good first impression…
-
Fuck, Police would be called..

i feel bad as i was sure everyone knew they were clip on calipers covers, i was going to post about them but didnt want to look stupid!. It also wasnt mentioned in ad about brembo brakes so it thought it was obvious.
Looks like a bit of a fiesta shitter, bad times! :(
-
Oh no no it's just as he protested to me saying the brakes were fake! It was also listed as a feature in the description.
-
Feck sake!!! Poor car! Really finding it hard to decide whether the seller could be that much of a cunt or just so irretrievably stupid. What a lovely attitude he has too and a complete lack of decency
Also, don't want to seem like a vulture but if you break, may I call dibs on the skirts?
-
Well you can indeed, as long as you pay the price  However I'm still deciding. I'm just so gutted about it. I might take it up somewhere with ramps for a good look at it. I think I know deep it down it has to scrapped though.
-
such a shame for such a beautiful car and a great guy. wonder if jdm rust sells well?
-
Bad times :( Especially with the effort you made coming over to get the car, that would piss me off the most, I thought it was bad enough living on the IOW when it comes to buying cars, there is nothing worse than travelling a long way for no reward…..................
-
did you pay cash or paypal? if its paypal i'd know what i'd be doing
-
What a dick… the attitude he gives after he's been found to be lying is unbelievable.. Hope you get something back pal, shame it did look pretty nice from first glance
-
did you get a reply yet?

If I'm good at anything it's giving people money  Keep me in the loop!
Any final prognosis on the beast?

Will do Ryan.
Both footwells have holes to the ground also.
Robbie, it was cash via bank lodgement. So I've no comeback on that :(
Really lowers your opinion on people doesn't it.
He's replied that he wrote 'sold as seen' - no mention of that what so ever in that description. It's still live on ebay.
-
Small claims court and trading standards then bud.

Did ya get a receipt from him? Check SAS ain't written on that if ya did.
But I would go small claims and TS as Lori said!!
-
someone once told me that sold as seen isnt worth the paper its written on. you still have rights as a customer, even if it does mean a small claims court. ebay buyer protection may be able to help you as well. i know it wasnt done through paypal but they will have all messages etc. as long as it is not over 60 days ago. give it a go. I am still getting fines through from a car i sold nearly 2 years ago via ebay because DVLA did not recieve the logbook. they have threatened to clamp the vehicle (ford mondeo ghia) which i do not own anymore….. or pay 80 quid. come and clamp away :) but back to the point, ebay could not help because its over 60 days ago. its gotta be worth a shot
-
Nope no receipt, no SAS anywhere! It would not look good for him in small claims court.
I've contacted eBay. They don't cover cars in buyer protection, but we'll see what they say.
