Front Lights
-
the siliver there is to give the mirror of the light from your bulb,,, project the light forward. thats why if you have slight flaking of the paint inside then usually means mot fail and new headlight.
and yep they are civic lights. was a post on mx3.com on how to make your own. but again someone on here said they DIY way is lil risky as will not pass DVLA regulations.

hmm dodgy advert imho

those ones on ebay look pretty smart although its hard to make out whats written but the pictures speak for themselves(sp) IMO
i just emailed the guy to see what the prices are and how much postage is to uk since i couldn't find it on the list. i probably wont get any thing back for a while though.

do look smart.
The mx 3 light itself is white isnt it?
its not silver, so it cant be reflective, i was going to paint that black!
-
black paint will obsorb the light therefor your car will not pass an MOT with that done, the bit inside is refelctive so that your beam is sent out full and also lvl, that why there calibrated
-
it siliver. most lights are…
-
so how come the ones off ebay are black?
-
Their projector lights. (again correct me if Im wrong with any of this) They use 3 bulbs of slightly higher wattage than normal and each one is set in its own circular enclosure which has a silver backing and a lense on top to reflect / refract the light in the same way that a standard light does. If you look closely the light housing is black but the front of each light looks silver. Its a bit like having 3 small headlights in an mx3 headlight shaped housing.
I might not have explained that very well. this picture might help
Oh, and those ones on ebay aren't black their carbon finish. (love it or hate it not my cup of tea though)
