JAPFEST UPDATE + a free to read car review

Howdy all, just got home from holiday today and had a big letter full of japfest tickets, if anyone can find a map of the venue our area this year is gate A - area CC
I will sort all the tickets by monday and they will be posted recorded delivery tuesday so expect them by the end of the week :D :D

I hired one for a week away in cornwall with the in laws over the bank holidays as I thought the MX would be too small and juicy like an nice orange
DJMARCOPOLOS road test in easter 2011
Styling - basic shit only good thing was tinted windows so others couldnt see you in it
Road handling - shite felt like i was trying to get a big box in the attic instead of driving
sport mode - button lights up and thats it !!
economy - worse than the MX V6 = £208 fuel = 815 miles i do that around town in my mx and that was motorway mileage at around 65-70 in the heap
Best thing about the zafira - I left it parked on the quay in Looe for a day and the seagulls covered it in crap by 6pm :lol:

just had a look at last years site map if its the same as last year were right next to the trade stand area near the track
last year we were in f for those who didnt now lol

Stand F!!, no one visits stand F lol.
C & D are the best areas, the map looks the same layout as its been for last 2 yrs ive been ( missed last year and this year :( ) just a little expanded around the track, numbers must be growing yearly.
oh dj you need the vxr model, if it hasnt got a vxr badge its not even worth getting in, even if your a passanger !!.

Excellent positioning if its the same layout as last year and TBH I have pounded them with emails, letters and phone calls for a better position, I had a chat with one of the organisers on the phone and explained that small clubs like us will just die out unless we get some exposure and new members and with new members comes more entries into Japfest and he completely agreed so I hope the effort I have put in comes good :D :D :D
Garfy, I did see a VXR in Looe and they looked quite nice inside but the base model that I had was awful never even going to hire one again
