yeah, hid in the stock housing are not worth the money imo, they cascade light everywhere, due to that theyre also illegal. Projectors is the only way to fit hid's they will put even more light on the road and are legal. When buying bulbs go for 4200/4300, 6000 and above and your loosing light, fast!

these actually do pretty good, and i only paid $35 for them

tell me something i dont know, but its a money issue…
-
How much would a respray cost over the pond?
-
a decent one that wont peel in 6 months? around $900 but i was thinking about compound and cleaner, see if that helps this weekend or something, as long as the weather doesnt keep me in
-
The best you could do with that is find an extremely strong jetwash and blow all that lacquer off so it then turns it matt colour, other way is rent a small spray kit and do it matt black all over
I do like that colour on MX's

Compound cleaner won't work I'm afraid, the laquers peeling, which means you'll be trying to cut and polish basecoat, if you can get basecoat to go shiny I'll come over and spray the car for you LOL
$900 is not a bad price for a respray, should not be peeling after 6 years afterwards let alone 6 months, way to do the job is rub down car, feather out the peeling areas seal it with primer abrade, re basecoat and laquer…..
-
If I can get my basecoat shiny, will you respray my car for free?

I smell a rat!
copy drustymx3's kind of route :P
