ok i'll let ye in on what i'm doing so it might make more sense.
i'm using the kf to find tdc to see where i've to mount my triggerwheel pickup and where to remove the tooth

Here you go…

Wish id seen this before I did my plugs and ht leads today, kind of jumped ahead of my self, pulled all the leads off to do the plugs first, then connected up the leads and had all but #1 in the wrong place lol, I thought it went:
1 2 3
6 5 4figured it out it was wrong when the engine made a hideous kaclunkppphhhhhhfffff noise, had a look at the old leads and figured it out, luckily they were the originals (12yrs old ffs) so still had the cylinder numbers on. Doh

shurrup you :P

This is for a K8ZE correct??
-
IIRC all Mazda V6 blocks.
-
My KLDE (MX6) and K8DE (MX3) are diffrent then this layout thats why i ask. I took the spark wires off without writing down the order now im screwed :? :(
-
ok so nevermind i guess my eunos presso doesnt have a K8ZE in it. I someone swapped a 2.0 KFZE in it years ago
I came to that conclusion because i used this firing order and everything works just fine
It also pulls ALOT faster then my MX3 and i wouldnt think only 10 horses would make that much of a difference but 30 or 40 sounds about right. Why someone put a KF in it who knows
-
Check the ECU, most likely if its an KF swap, then he'll have used the KF ecu.
Btw, the K8ZE (at least mine) seems to pull alot faster than the equivalent DE.
