Anyone know were I can get them cheaper than this??

Thats not a bad price for a pair IMO as long as its a good grade of stainless, remember cheap normally means inferior quality, dress your MX3 in GUCCI not PRIMARK!! :lol:

Thats very dear, they are just marine stainless steel bottle screws for rigging, probably get them that small for under £15
actually on ebay, not many listed but £4.99 each

try typing rigging screw, they use them to tension mast rigging
Price now down to £8.50 for a matching pair of 5mm in stainless

Not really, you can get a bolt, put in a vice and drill a hole through the side of the thread for the pin to go through then both side of the splitter use a penny washer, its done and most boats to stop the thread damaging snagging etc they use a shrink plastic tube on it to cover it up so you just get the stainless body showing and the tube shrinks tight so it covers the pins etc

Did this today! the pin is 6mm and fork about 8mm so doesnt
really leave enough meat on the 8mm bolt, think i may have to machine
up some proper posts to fit these, or find some other method?

go to ebay and type in clevis pinThen find the size you need, they are very tidy looking
