Random prices

Been looking at some things on ebay and just wondering how some people can charge such different prices?
Examples
Distributor cap, new:
Seller 1 £26.99
Seller 2 £125Alternator, new:
Seller 1 £50
Seller 2 £269Thermostat, new:
Seller 1 £10
Seller 2 £20 + postagemakes no sense to me, as there doesn't seem much difference in items?

1.8 V6That is the differencea and the costs are massive on them, everything for 1.6 or 1.5 are extremely cheap, mainly because they are so mass produced as they fit a lot more other cars like the kia range and most of the mazda range.

It would be tainted with filfth :P and usually Kia drivers would put cheap filth in their tanks and not much of it.

Mmm, Kia Sorrento.
Looks like they've taken the headlights from a bug eye scoob, put some celica mid lights in (cross eyed), the side lights off an MX3, blended it all into a Citroen Xsara bumper and then forgot about the rest of the car from there on (oh and finished it in the colour your car is DJ :P ).

Well apparently, I've heard the big boy Nissan Skylines use Micra fuel pumps as standard! ^^
