Knocking sound at 3500 revs

Hi guys , think i need oil change as sounding a bit tappety.Its a standard v6.Im more worrind as ive got a knocking at 3500 revs.Its not a deep knocking. more like a rattle. Any ideas guys?

tappets. but that is mainly around idle revs.
however mate got this with his golf at mo and its warped pistons

I wondered if it could be worn pulley? its that kinda sound.

could be a bearing in your pulley maybe??? i get this at mid rev aswell or when i keep the car at a constant speed, altho it £30 for an oil change kit and £5 for a hydro tappet cleaner kit, might be worth trying that aswell ( i done this and its much much better), next stop is theres a cover thing on the tappet/valve that can be sticking aswell apparently and you can buy them at ten a pennie aswell but they look a bugger to fit altho in not 100% sure

exteremly loud clunking from the bottom end on the engine…..

Hmmmmm, if it sounds more than tappets could be the Big End Rod Bearings at that RPM, 300 quid fix
