Paint code
-
Red is a bastard to match, go to a proper bodyshop paint supplier and get a colour match that way, there will probably be so many variants, they can put it in a rattle can for you too. (spit) I hate rattle cans!
-
Kes the biggest issue you will have is matching the color as its red… red bleaches out over time and is a nightmare..
you will need a variant, a good paint supplier will be able to do this.. the paint code for yours is in all rights a starting base for a very nice person to painstakingly match a close as he could...
most people i know who have had a red car including myself in the end have had the car resprayed completely...other wise it can look terrible with different shades everywhere..

Thats where blending comes in

heres another set of codes for the mx3 ive found..

well the colour on my car seems to be pretty good anyway, plus i gave it a once over last summer with my mop and some g3 and g10 so its mirror finish and doesn't seem to have faded. Luckily its just the front and rear bumpers that need doing.
