if your cars a pre 94 obdI car its an easy enough swap to do.
I'd budget £1200 to buy everything and do it yourself.
Or make Jay an offer, he has everything you need.

if your cars a pre 94 obdI car
i know of two 96 plate v6's on here that are obd1
-
They won't be on the 'OBDI' loom.
There are 3 looms on the UK MX-3 and only the early ones with 3 plugs going to the ECU and no Immobiliser are the ones you can use for a proper KLZE Swap.
There was never a True OBDII loom for the MX-3 in the UK, they all have the diagnostics port in the engine bay, that means nothing.

i have a 96 plate on a obd1 daryl it has 3 yellow plugs and another member has the same..
-
Never seen that all the later ones i've seen have had an immobiliser, how strange?
How many temp senders does it have?

lets be clear so as to keep this myth about being pre 94 myth in context!
Both of mine are 1995 Reg, late at that. Both OBDI/3plug, i.e. easy to ZE. Remember just because a car is first registered in say 1996 it could easily be a 93 model, just like yours probably is Rainmaker. I can check anyones VIN on my EPC if anyone wants clarification.
