Gates cam kit disappeared??

Saw Gates cam kit for v6 at probe store last week.
Just went to buy it and it's no longer there!! :?
Have checked 3 times and cant find it. Am I just being a plank a missing it? :?:

all i see is a gates cam belt but no cam kit..

Not going mad then. Last week there were 3 different cam kits for the v6. The Gates kit was over 200 squid I think ? :?:

If you want cam kits then buy from america all the way, you get much better deal
This set inc water pump is around £100 inc P&P
But if you really want to get the engine done you can buy all the above plus ALL the gaskets needed for the heads, valves and plugs for only £15 extra
or for around £40 you can leave the cam cover open at the top and have a Gates Racing Blue cambelt

My mate who is a mechanic (got his own business and body shop) recommended that I get Gates kit 4 mx3 (should really wait and c wot price he can get it 4, just being impatient,lol).
Got oil leak from Rocker cover which is leaking oil all over belts(just started to squeek on full lock) and a coolant leak from r/h side and couple of inches below bottom of rocker cover.
Have arranged to go round to mates garage after work on fri to put it on his lift to get a better look.Have been reading some old posts on the Interference is it/isn't it debate!!!
Have been creased up. :lol:

Tiz for the B series engine, that Gates Racing Blue. Pity! Still useful for 4pot folk here though!

I've removed them from the store, Gates in UK are taking the pee with the cam belt kits prices at the moment, and in the USA they are having a sell off, so it's cheaper to buy it there at the moment.
Saying that, beware in USA, some complete kits only have a Gates branded belt, the tensioners are just generic brands not Gates, this is not often made clear.

Anyone have an idea how long parts typically take to arrive from the states. Ideally wanted it for easter w/e.
Was also curious why my mate (mechanic of 30 yrs experience/own business) told me my k8 engine on the eunos was knackered after cam belt snapped(engine was only idling at 750 rpm at time). So went up to his garage to see him this morning. He showed me the autodata book (Timing belts, dated 2003), it states that the "k8 1.8 v6 engine is an INTERFERENCE engine"???. Guess this is why most mechanics will tell you ur engine is knackered!!
