MX3 V6 + MX6 V6 THROTTLE BODY QUESTION

Does anyone know if Mazda used the same throttle bodies on the MX3 + MX6 V6 engines
Just it seems the MX6 induction kits are a good 25% cheaper and I wondered if I can just fit an MX6 induction kit straight onto an MX3 throttle body and are the oil breathers the same etc

hmmm i think the tb is interchangable but the intake can be used or modified to fit :roll:

from what i remember the diameter etc are the same, the 2.5 V6's are the same but from what i recall the pattern on the bottom of the tb is the opposite way around

I contacted probe store, they say they are completely different.
Shame because the MX6 ones are dead cheap

the butterfly in side is bigger on the mx6 to let more air in
but i would say go for the hole inlet change
or even beter 2.5 conversion lol

Yep James is right on. I had a straight neck KLZE inlet manifold on my k8 for a while there. I ported matched the k8 heads to the ZE square ports. Hard to judge the power when I was taking out a ZE and replacing with a k8 though!

Nah I'm all for the curves too, the k8 wasn't allowed to have the beautiful Miss Millenia.
